A BRITISH teen appointed to a flagship role as a youth police crime commissioner has been found posting foul mouthed rants on Twitter.
Paris Brown has apologised for the tweets, some of which boasted of her drinking and included references to drug use. The content of other tweets appeared to be racist, homophobic and even violent, Britain's Sunday Telegraph reported.
In one message that seemed to refer to ordering fast food, Miss Brown wrote: “F****** hell why are the people from Direct Pizza so difficult to talk to! IT’S CALLED ENGLISH LEARN IT.”
Miss Brown, 17, was only appointed last week to the 15,000-pounds-a-year ($22,000) job with Kent Police - the first role of its kind in Britain.
In a tweet apparently referring to cannabis she wrote: “I really wanna make a batch of hash brownies.”
In a more disturbing post she wrote: “I want to f****** cut everyone around me.”
Apologising for the comments referring to drink and drugs Miss Brown, who beat 164 hopefuls to the job of youth police czar, said she had been exaggerating about her lifestyle to show off.
She also denied she was racist, homophobic or violent.
Kent’s Police Commissioner Anne Brown defended the 17-year-old, claiming it was "a phase" she was going through. Even though some of the tweets date from just a few months ago.
In a statement Commissioner Brown said: “I absolutely do not condone the content and language of Paris' tweets. I suspect that many young people go through a phase during which they make silly, often offensive comments and show off on Facebook and Twitter.
"I think that if everyone’s future was determined by what they wrote on social networking sites between the ages of 14 and 16 we’d live in a very odd world.
