LADY Gaga has tweeted fans to say that she is going in for surgery on her injured hip.
The Born This Way singer was forced to cancel a number of concerts including in Chicago, Detroit and Canadian due to the injury.
"Going in for surgery now," Gaga tweeted. "Thank you so much for sending me love and support. I will be dreaming of you."
The singer has torn soft tissue called the labrum in her right hip, a common injury for athletes and dancers.
It usually takes a few months to fully recover following the surgery.
