SECOND-chance crooner Luke Kennedy has soared to No.1 on the iTunes chart after stealing the show on The Voice last night.

Former Ten Tenor Kennedy’s version of Andrea Bocelli’s Time to Say Goodbye has outsold Robin Thicke and Daft Punk to top the download chart today.

The original version, a duet with Sarah Brightman, has also re-entered the iTunes chart at No.28.

Martin’s team is proving the most popular with downloaders today - Emma Pask's Mas Que Nada is No.4 on iTunes while Caterina Torres' take on Beyonce's If I Were a Boy is No.6, with the original version back at No.64.

Team Seal is struggling to match Team Ricky on the iTunes chart - Mitchell Anderson’s version of The Letter is No.23, Jac Stone's divisive rendition of Suzanne Vega's Luka is No.25 (the original is at No.61) and Shawne Kirke's take on Paolo Nutini's Last Request is No.47.

Team Ricky does have the night’s worst performance, James Walker’s diabolical reading of the Killers' Mr Brightside, which is at No.48.

Luke Kennedy at Number 1 on iTunes

Luke Kennedy's has a hit on his hands with his version of Andrea Bocelli's Time to Say Goodbye.

However the night's least-popular song was Nicholas Roy's version of Jeff Buckley's Last Goodbye from Team Seal.

Roy's karaoke cover is No.117 on iTunes today, with Buckley's original outselling him at No.75.

The remake was considered treading on sacred ground by many critics on Twitter.

Every iTunes sale of $1.69 counts for two votes for the artist - not even cracking the Top 100 is a bad sign for Roy's chances of survival.

Kennedy's popularity sees previous cover versions I Dreamed a Dream and A Time For Us re-enter the iTunes chart today.

While they may be blitzing iTunes, The Voice has yet to follow through to dominate the actual ARIA chart.

After an initial blaze of downloads, Harrison Craig’s version of Michael Buble entered the ARIA singles chart at No.13 yesterday.

The only other Voice contestants from last week to trouble this week’s ARIA Top 30 were Jackie Sannia at No.24 with Arithmetic and Miss Murphy at No.30 with Sorry Seems to be the Hardest Word.
