ANYONE with a camera trying to catch a thunderstorm will be able to tell you that photographing rain can be incredibly difficult.
Either the drops of water falling from the sky appear too small and skinny, or they look like a giant white line, depending on the shutter speed.
It's a skill.
But now a photographer has discovered a new way to take photos of the rain that are not only accurate, but incredibly beautiful.
It also doesn't require the use of a camera.
US photographer, Klea McKenna has captured a set of gorgeous images of the rain using nothing but pieces of photo paper. Light is also essential.
McKenna exposed sheets of light-sensitive photo paper to the rain, using objects to block off parts of the page, creating shapes and movement on the page.
The results are truly amazing.
Unfortunately if you're trying to figure out how you can try this at home, McKenna's not going to tell you. She's keeping the secret of her incredible photography to herself, Gizmodo reported.
